On Saturday, April 11th, Old City Hall is hosting the second annual Taste of Rio Brazilian costume mask party to remember! Wear your best mask and enjoy an authentic Brazilian dinner, live music by the JJ Hawg band, dancers and and evening of fun at Carnival Masquerade.

Rio Carnival is a six day party that highlights the Samba School parades. These are huge organized parades with Rhythmic Participation and Costumes varying for each region of Brazil. This is an amazing event that incorporates Music, Dancing and Breathtaking Floats! The Schools out do themselves as they are competing with each other to become number one. The preparation for these schools starts a year in advance with weekly practices to become the best they can be.
